This
class is for those ready to move beyond the
basics. Apply these techniques to the traditional
loom or No Warps! loom. The student will learn
increasing and decreasing, adding focal beads,
supplemental warps, creating spaces in the work,
twisted rows, pulled warp and so much more! Why
take several classes to to learn one technique at
a time? Now you can take this two-day class and
learn it all. And best yet, I'll show you how to
make your sampler into a piece of wearable art.

This class is
sometimes offered in 2 parts. The first being
"Loom Sampler Intro" which is a
pre-requisite for the second class, "Loom
Sampler Finale".
In the "Loom Sampler Intro" Class you
will learn about designing a loomed piece,
setting up the loom, increasing and decreasing,
beading the warp threads and applying fringe.
The project for this class is a simple, yet
striking necklace.
If you are going to continue on to the
"Finale" Class the project will be
similar to the necklace shown above.
In the "Loom Sampler Finale" class you
will continue your piece and learn: adding
spaces, twisting warps, embellishing with beads,
cabochons and fringe, along with finishing
techniques.
Kits for the "Intro" class are $35.00 in class only. They
contain beads, directions and color pattern
Kits for the "Finale" Class are $85.00 - contains pre-beaded
warp, threads, all seed beads, larger beads, color copy, needles
and graphs.

These kits are available in
The Original
"Electric Beads" colors of dynamic purples,
oranges, olives, black.
Reds
- Deep and bright reds with gray accents and gray
warp beads
Purples
- Lavenders, purples, lilacs
Naturals - Beige, tans, dark gold, deep browns with
mixed browns for warp beads
Southwest(silver)
- Teals, maroon, beige, turquoise with silver
warp beads.
Southwest(gold)
- Same as above but with gold warp beads
Blues - Cobalt, sapphires, white and deep gray with
gray or blue warp beads
The Loom Sampler kits are meant to be used in conjunction with a class. They
do not include instruction for individual techniques covered in class
HOWEVER, . . . . We are working on adding the Loom Sampler to our
Class-in-a-Bag Series and everything, including beads, beaded warp thread,
needles, thread and written directions for specific techniques will be
included.
